NVQ Reviews is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This helps us keep the site running and continue creating free study resources.
How We Make Money
NVQ Reviews is an independently run website that provides educational content, buying guides, product reviews, and mock tests for people working in or preparing to enter the UK construction industry. We earn money through affiliate partnerships, which means we receive a small commission when you purchase a product or service through one of our links.
This commission comes from the retailer or brand, not from you. You pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer’s website. In many cases, we are able to share exclusive offers or discounts that are only available through our affiliate links.
Our Affiliate Partners
We work with a number of affiliate networks and brand partners. These currently include Amazon Associates (amazon.co.uk), Awin and its advertisers, and various direct brand partnerships. The specific partners may change over time as we add or remove relationships.
As an Amazon Associate, NVQ Reviews earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
How We Choose What to Recommend
Our editorial content is independent. Affiliate partnerships do not influence which products we recommend, the scores we give in reviews, or the order in which products appear in our guides. We recommend products based on our research, user feedback, value for money, and suitability for the intended audience.
We will never recommend a product solely because it offers a higher commission. If a product is not good enough to recommend, we will not feature it regardless of the affiliate relationship. Where we have not personally used or tested a product, we clearly state that our assessment is based on published specifications, user reviews, and available data rather than hands-on experience.
How to Identify Affiliate Links
Affiliate links on our site typically direct you to a retailer’s product page (such as Amazon). In our reviews and buying guides, product links, “check price” buttons, and product images generally contain affiliate tracking. If you are ever unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, you can hover over it to check the URL or contact us to ask.
Your Choice
You are never obligated to use our affiliate links. If you prefer to purchase directly from a retailer without using our link, you are completely free to do so. Using our links is simply a way to support the site at no cost to you.
